would love new release versions that we can watch for as changes come out

I see you commit to master so we usually set homebrew to pull from HEAD. But would love to get the notifications when a release/new changes comes out via the Github watcher. Then the releases are atomic and versioned, so we don't have to have homebrew always get HEAD.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

what exactly is his Github watcher? Can you share a link.

I was just referring to the Watch feature for a github repo shown at the top of the page. I choose to watch just for Custom -> Releases to keep up to date on important repos (and to know when to homebrew upgrade. I don't choose All Activity since I don't want to see everything that happens, just milestone updates on the repo.

Hello,

In the issue https://github.com/magicmonty/bash-git-prompt/issues/517, the maintainer has announced his retirement from this project.

I forked it on https://github.com/rakotomandimby/bash-git-prompt, and if this issue is still relevant, I kindly ask you to re-create it over there, and provide the pull request over there.

Thank you
