Controller not showing up

I have a Pro controller that I have connected to my iMac. It shows it successfully connected via bluetooth to my computer but on the JoyKeyMapper app, it is not coming up as a controller. It simply says (no controllers connected) when my controller is. Any ideas?

I tried the same thing (it didn't work). Then I found out my controller was the power a controller instead. so I then tried it with my joy cons and it worked!. So it may be your controller is like the pro controller or its a problem with JoyKeyMapperSilicon.
