Sending a sales email from backend always gives success - also when disabled

Preconditions and environment

  • 2.4.7-p8

Steps to reproduce

Set config sales_email/order/enabled = 0. Send a sales email from the backend (order confirmation, invoice, etc).

Expected result

See message "You did no sent the order email"

Actual result

See message "You sent the order email"

Additional information

The result of the email service isn't considered when adding the message.

We have tried to reproduce the issue in latest 2.4-develop instance and we are able to reproduce the issue.Kindly refer the screenshots.
