Express Checkout - InStore Pickup shows as a Shipping options, but selecting it breaks express checkout.

Preconditions (*)

1. Magento 2.4.3-p1 & also tested on 2.4.3-p3
2. all inventory-in-store-pickup modules 1.1.0-p1

Steps to reproduce (*)

1. Enable PayPal Express checkout or use Braintree and enable Express Checkout. (both have same results)
2. Go through the steps using any of PayPal, GooglePay or ApplePay
3. Select Shipping method as InStore Pickup.
4. Click Pay - get an error.

Expected result (*)

1. That at somepoint it asks what store to set as pickup location? Or if only 1 pickup location, auto sets that one.
2. Then it works?

Actual result (*)

1. Fails and Kicks customers out of express checkout and back to basket with an error of no pickup location code.
