Remove the mosquitoes
Describe the bug
Here's my use-case
- Come up with melodies in my head
- Hum/sing them into the microphone
- Use the plugin to transform my voice into an instrument.
- The idea was to try to sketch songs into a DAW using only my voice and the plugin.
Here's what happens.
- Any noise picked up by the mic, even if it's barely audible in the raw audio, is transformed into a buzzing sound that is louder than my actual voice. The noise sounds like a bunch of mosquitoes. I tried to mess up with the plugin settings, but there was not much difference. The only thing that helps a bit is to turn down the microphone level down, but then I have to sing louder into the mic and the mosquito noises are still there and still louder than my actual voice.
- The plugin is honestly unusable for my particular use-case at this point.
- This happens with every instrument I tried, but is more pronounced the more out of the range of the instrument my voice is.
System Info
- Windows 10
- Reaper 6.64
- Effects plugin v1.0.2
To Reproduce Just hum into the mic with the plugin enabled and use any instrument.
