I was thinking the same thing, it'd actually be pretty great as an addon.

As long as the owner of the project would be ok with it I could probably convert it.

Hi @marcomow @wlatic - are you using this today in its current form? I made this project for a specific device and then ended up replacing that fan with one which doesn't talk Tuya. Since then the project has been pretty stale

@mafrosis its something I've looked at a few times and decided against using, but it looks like it may have more potential than the Local Tuya or localtuya addon.

I'm going back and forth as to which "one protocol to rule them all" I use.
