I'd guess the most likely cause would be a cosmic ray or old/overheated CPU/RAM, as the issue wasn't persistent.

Do you have exact steps to reproduce on Azure or Amazon? Please make sure to include exact and complete steps, including all settings that are changed on the OS layer...

Are you absolutely sure you are using "default" settings? You said the same thing in the last issue, and I wasn't able to reproduce with default settings: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/25726#issuecomment-1203088286
