empty div Suggestion/consideration

I know that empty elements are used on purpose, being abused for background images or spacers. Would it be an idea to take this into consideration in the console log? As in, this element may be used as spacer/background element. Also, it shows my polygon & canvas elements from which it isn't weird that they are empty.
