Not sure this is the right place to report it, but I sure miss it.

It is indeed the right place to report it!

A few days ago, nixos.org changed its hosting to Netlify (https://discourse.nixos.org/t/announcement-moving-nixos-org-to-netlify/6212/26), and moved a bunch things around. That means the absolutely-not-brittle-at-all html parsing code powering howoldis stopped working.

But, I also learned about https://status.nixos.org/, which may very much fulfill all you howoldis needs.

I guess it's going to be time to decommission this project, then. I'll add a notice to the README in case anybody else asks.

If you do decide to take down howoldis, the wiki and status pages need to be updated to remove the links to it, and all of the information from the dropdowns on howoldis should probably be copied over to the channels wiki page (I think most of it is already there besides ISO stuff and command-not-found info).

what about using https://github.com/kenmickles/heroku-redirect for the redirect?

We should at least move the explanation of how channel updates are processed to the official status page, as it still refers to howoldis (and the wiki) for this at the moment. Else a redirect back to the status page will be truly confusing. Thank you for this great page while it lasted. It has saved me a lot of time.

I've opened a PR to update the last link to howoldis that I could find in the nixpkgs repo. Does anyone know where the source for the status page (status.nixos.org) lives?
