Just using this as a dumping ground of things that need to be done for v1.
- [ ] Easier dev setup

- [ ] Stop photo grid jumping in size when loading the page with a scroll bar
- [ ] File system watcher service to index photos as they get added/removed/moved
- [ ] Basic user management and ability to grant access to libraries for different users
- [ ] Better UI??
- [x] Don't use Google Maps for geolocation rendering
- [ ] Easier installation
- [x] Form validation and error messages
Just got Pix installed (via Docker) and displaying my photos. Great work! Now I'd like to create accounts for my family.
Can I put in a pitch for user management? I see this like Wordpress might work - with a boolean available to the admin for whether open registrations are open and a "register" link on the front page. A package that ties it to AD/LDAP would be nice but probably ambitious at this stage. :-)
Thanks for a great project!
Also consider this a shameless plug for being able to rotate the photos. Thanks!
@jmturner Thanks for trying Pix out! Got to be honest, I'm struggling to find the time to work on this. But when I last left off, I was indeed working on user management. I run an AD/LDAP server at home so I'd like to see this as well, as well as Kerberos authentication. I'll keep this issue updated for when I get around to doing this.
