dotnetfx35.exe tries -and fails- to install over mono

The redistributable is shipped by Steam, in its main library directory, under Steamworks Shared/_CommonRedist/DotNet/3.5/dotnetfx35.exe, it usually fails when Windows version is not set to winxp, saying the installation should be done through "Turn Windows features on & off". I'm not sure that it's completing successfully on winxp either.

FWIW I could find a bunch of product keys it checks for but probably not all of them are required:

Shouldn't you use winetricks to uninstall wine-mono first? It has been a while since I had dotnetfx35 on wine, but I think it installs okay and works okay too.

The installer should exit successfully without doing anything if wine-mono is installed.
