Android location manager does not handle sensors ?

Hi

Is there any information if android OS as of date is still not using the sensors to improve GPS ?? Why would they not implement such a filtering library for the location manager ?

Kindly apologize, as I there has to be some valid reason why Android is not doing this and I wish to understand that. I am interested to use this library but wanted to ensure that OS is not doing it already.

They did. There is fused location provider in their API. https://developers.google.com/location-context/fused-location-provider
