SUGGESTION: delayed temp drive use

an issue with over saturation of temp drive in first few minutes after plot is done.

carried tests:

  1. normal copy tmp > 1gb network > server = steady 110MBs copy speed results in overall plot time ~24min
  2. staging drive tmp > second NVM > server = extra 1 min for clogging tmp bandwidth

proposed solution

assuming all serious farmers plot with RAMdisk. First ~1m of plotting only in RAM and then starting to write back to temp drive once previous plot has been moved to staging drive.
