Seamless Desktop Integration
Snackr is an RSS feeder that docks to the side of your desktop and can go fully transparent except for feed text.
It'd be cool if Masques was able to integrate into the desktop in such a way that users would be encouraged to leave it open all the time - like a widget or snackr.
I agree. We should encourage users to leave it open at all times. I was thinking a small icon in the start menu or something. Do you have an example of Snackr's desktop dock?

The Snackr dock is the feed on the left side. Note the transparency, which I think makes it feel just sexy fine. I do have three screens though, so I have the room to spare.
I support this. I am not sure we can do this (in this way) on a mac. But it will work for Windows and KDE (I don't know about Unity/Gnome).
Only issue is that we have to write OS specific code.
Looks good. We'll have to look at that for some sort of simplified view into Masques.
