Could someone please, make an ethernet i/o or ethernet/ip device driver for PoLabs PoKeys57e and pokeys57cnc ethernet devices. Or at least a work-out-of-box solution to use beaglebone black as ethernet device for step/dir and eQEP encoder over ethernet.

Interesting devices. Please be aware that as an open source project we as maintainers will only work on what interests us most and what most users want.

You already can use the BBB as Ethernet supported motion controller if you want using Machinetalk.

If you need something more quickly please consider Commercial Support.

I decided too read the source code on the hm2 driver, which is more close to a pokeys57; just without a fpga. Figure i can do some study work and get practice in programming. Hopefully ill have a working driver and configuration ui by december.
