Remove date.js as a dependency

The date.js repo was archived mid-2020. We should decouple from it for security.

  1. Identify where it is being used.
  2. Identify alternatives (ideally native).

On inspection, I believe it is unused in the code.

Verified that it is not a dependency of the miller columns jQuery lib.
