Only PKG... No DMG files
It seems that SplashBuddy only works with my PKG files in Jamf log file and not with my DMG files. I use the same name confention Name_package-version.dmg But this doens't seem to works. Any idea if SplashBuddy only works with PKG?
That's a very valid request. I'm surprised no one asked before :) Could you include the relevant part of jamf.log here ?

Thank you Joost! It seem that with dmg we only get "installing", but nothing on the success or failure or the process. Looks like I will need a better parser for the jamf log.
Do you have any log of a dmg that failed to install, if such thing exists?
We can enable debug logging to capture additional client side logs via jamf.log. It’s best to turn off debug logging after use. Below are the commands to turn debug mode on/off and an example of the additional data stored in the jamf.log.
Step 1:Run at SplashBuddy load sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.jamfsoftware.jamf.plist global_log_level DEBUG
