It works perfectly fine on 12.1 / Intel for me. Maybe you need to allow terminal.app full disk permission? I can't imagine there's any reason this works on Intel but won't on m1.

It's not dead, it's open source, it'll be dead, when everyone abandons it.

I personally use this repo daily and really love the idea. So I'll try to solve any new issue (and old ones) and maintain the project.

i assume if i read deprecated, that it can damage my setup
