Describe the Feature you'd Like

Thank you for building a better plugin than Buttons. I've put a link in the Readme of Buttons and will archive the project after we get enough folks moved over.

Thank you for building Buttons. I am not 100% familiar with all the features of Buttons and meta bind is currently missing some, namely anything that has to do with modifying the file such as removing the button after click and inserting templates into the current note. If you want, we can meet on discord (or another voice call app) and come up with a migration guide to make the transition easier for users :)

Shoot me a DM on Discord, I'm shabegom over there too

I also use the workflow of "insert a given template, render the template, delete the button." I do not see a way of passing a specified template to insert, nor a command that can remove the currently executing element (rendering the inserted template is possible). I can do a clumsy workaround for the first with a javascript file, but passing arguments to commands should be possible, I think?

I love the promise here, and it's advancing nicely. Thank you to both authors!

This will be possible in MB 1.0, see here. If you want to try it right now, you can install the latest version of the plugin via BRAT, but be aware that this version might not be 100% stable.

Amazing plugin, this was one of essential features missing. This single plugin increase functionality of Obsidian 100%+. I believe the plugin will be in top 10 with such essential plugins as Dataview.

That's exactly what BRAT is for -- bleeding edge versions. I'm holding off, simply because it's a busy work week, but wanted to say thanks for this feature! I look forward to integrating it when it's either stable or I can handle having things be quirky for a bit.
