I am using Obsidians inbuild fuzzy suggest modal, so idk if i can do anything about this without rebuilding it from scratch.

Are there event hooks relating to the fuzzy suggest modal?

In my head I was thinking that the modal could just be kept open until an Esc key was sent, but perhaps the fuzzy suggest modal API makes that tricky

The best option would be to build a modal from scratch.
