When I saw you mentioned iframes, I was at first concerned about links. Your workaround though is a clever way of getting around that issue, interesting!
I am removing this issue from the public beta milestone list because it's remaining tasks are non-essential.
#600 will mostly close this issue with account linking. Users with account disputes will need to contact instance admins to resolve the conflict.

If we already have server rate limiting on Beacon, are password diminishing returns necessary? Brute force attempts would theoretically already be filtered.
It's probably alright to not have that last feature, so I will go ahead and close this
