M5 StickC WAV playback not working

Hi there, I am trying to use the M5 StickC SPK / SPEAKER HAT to play back some WAV. Could you please confirm if this is possible? The SPK example https://github.com/m5stack/M5StickC/blob/master/examples/Hat/SPEAKER/SPEAKER.ino seems to imply it's possible, but I don't see it working in the example and I haven't seen an example that I was able to make work.

Hi EeeeBin, can you confirm the SPK HAT can play back WAV files and it is connected to the builtin DAC?
