Program crashing after trying to invite friend or create a link

was working fine yesterday but is now crashing after attempting to invite friend or creating a link. No betas, have tried reinstalling, have tried different games.

Looks like the update fixed it! However when someone joins the session they don't show up on the remote play together panel It looks like all clients have mouse and keyboard control by default as well Image

Tried a bit more and it looks like its streaming the whole desktop and all audio source from host, and looks like when the host try to control the game the client stutters like crazy, the client names are also showing up as Guest1, 2 etc. Maybe steam have changed somthing on the api?

I have the same issue as AlexKLM. My friends can hear all my desktop and they don't appear on the app of RPW since the last update. Atm we can not play together. When they try to join me, they crash. Yesterday we had not issues, that was perfect

I have the same issue as them right now. But my entire sound disappears and I can't hear anything in the game

Having the same issue aswell, they just see my desktop with no sound, and they can't hear anything, also they dont appear on the list and the UI of remote play is just freezed.

RPW is unable to differentiate between P1 and P2 controllers, the game sound doesn't seem to be there for the person that is hosting.

we had P1 open the game in big picture mode and the controllers are working fine now but now P2 doesn't have any sound

Make sure steam beta is disabled inside steam settings
