Sending invites seemingly does not work on Fedora Linux

I am on Fedora Linux KDE Plasma Spin and I'm using the appimage version of remoteplaywhatever, and it opens fine but when i click on someone and confirm i want to send an invite it does nothing, nothing is sent to them, theres no error in the console or anything, it simply does not work. Ive tried Noita and Yomi Hustle and they both have this issue, i know that steam remote play works normally because i have used it in the past.

Please specify which version of the Steam client you are using and how it was installed (snap, native, flatpak, etc.) Which RPW release is being used?
