Latest image will not flash

i get this error when i try to flash the current complete image on my raspberry pi 4.

I don't know if the image will work on a Raspberry Pi 4. The image is not based on an up-to-date Raspbian.

You can try copying the image with Etcher [1]. Are you on Linux? I usually use diskdump dd [2], which is a bit dangerous if you are not familiar with Linux terminal tools.

Sorry to leave this issue on a bit of a dead note, but i have my own compiled version version working on my raspberry so i dont think getting the image working is relevant at the moment for my research. Thank you for the response none the less.

The way I create the image might result in an invalid image. I never checked with other tools than dd.
