Duplicate user-item pairs

Good evening, I'm currently working on a dataset which contains duplicate user-item pairs but with different values for some features (which also contain mixed data types). For example:

  • user item value 0 1 2

  • user item value 0 1 "A"

Can you kindly suggest me a possible solution to this problem? Thanks a lot for your time

Did you try using one-hot-encoding?
