Question: are backlinks to note subheaders also updated during the refactor?

If there are existent backlinks to the extracted subheader (like so [[Intial Note#Extracted subheader]]) are they updated accordingly with the refactoring?

Couldn't find the info in the documentation.

Seems backlinks to the original note are not updated with refactor -- which for me causes serious problems, as backlinks are as a result broken upon refactoring.

Given that it is rather long notes which need to be refactored, it's quite crippling to break all the backlinks. (*ie the longest notes are the most likely to have collected backlinks - as a result, the notes most in need of refactoring can't be refactored...)

Anyone have any ideas for work-arounds?
