No warning, nothing. None is working either.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
  1. Open preferences > shortcuts
  2. Add for example Ctrl+Alt+b for 2 different actions
  3. Apply and close
  4. No working shortcut, reopening preferences both are stll there. --->

Do other apps warn the user about entering duplicate shortcuts? I've made it impossible in my apps and also in lximage-qt, but I don't think it's usual.

I remember always a warning: "X is already is assigned to action Y (and eventually: do you want to reassign?)". This in applications like darktable, digikam. kdenlive or calibre. The issue is more that no one works here when having duplicates.

Ambiguous shortcuts don't work. When a shortcut is assigned to more than one action, it's called "ambiguous".

OK, they can be prevented, like in lximage-qt.
