default notification duration doesn't work on gmail

This is probably not a bug, but I'll report it anyway: I set 45sec as the default notification duration. it works with all sites except gmail: when I receive an email the notification is only visible for about 7 seconds. Also, after the notification has disappeared it does not appear in the log of lxqt-notification systray. I use chromium. Video: https://www.veed.io/view/ba69948e-ff91-4a9e-99af-70392425544a
