D-link DIR-620 always rejects association

Open cypa opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

it was working somehow for almost 1 year and now again broken on my Arch linux Prestigio 133S laptop, a few weeks ago, after update, I've found 2 wlan interfaces instead of one and "no networks found" since then:

`~λ ip addr .... 10: wlan0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN group default qlen 1000 link/ether 54:c9:ef:d7:cf:b7 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 11: wlp0s21f0u7i2: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN group default qlen 1000 link/ether 56:c9:ef:d7:cf:b7 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff ~/builds/rtl8723buλ sudo systemctl stop wpa_supplicant@wlp0s21f0u7i2 ~/builds/rtl8723buλ networkctl list IDX LINK TYPE OPERATIONAL SETUP
1 lo loopback carrier unmanaged 7 enp0s21f0u4 ether routable configured 10 wlan0 wlan off unmanaged 11 wlp0s21f0u7i2 wlan off configuring

4 links listed. ~λ sudo wifi-menu wlp0s21f0u7i2 Scanning for networks... failed No networks found ~λ sudo wifi-menu wlan0

Scanning for networks... failed No networks found ~λ `

full details will be later

any other WiFi-router works well but D-link DIR-620 always rejects association - how is it possible?
