Monitor mode does not work on Ubuntu

Tested with Debian 7, same issue. Symptom: "iw" tool doesn't find the device.

None of the USB drivers are a priority with Realtek. I am not surprised that monitor mode does not work. If you want it, you will need to extend the code yourself. If you succeed, I will be happy to review patches and incorporate them into the repo once they pass the review.

The new rtl8xxxu driver in mainline will replace this driver soon. I recommend that you test with it.
