What does RESTORE TAB do?

I have no idea what RESTORE tab does.

I closed a tab and hit the SAKAKEY RESTORE TAB key. Nothing happens. So, I GUESS it doesn't restore a previously closed tab. I don't like GUESSING about what something does.

I am experiencing this same issue. The restore tab key is unresponsive.
