Alt+D hijacked by Saka Key (Address bar focus)

Open SpitFire-666 opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Unfortunately when Saka Key is enabled, the native Alt+D (to get to the address bar) doesn't work (SK must be hijacking the mapping). I'd still like to be able to use the D key for scrolling down etc. Possible to fix? Thanks.

You can use Ctrl+K instead (not while writing a comment here) Or delete the Alt+D binding to scroll right (you might also delete the Alt+S binding to scroll left as well) screenshot from 2018-08-28 13-21-55

Thanks that's a decent workaround. I still feel like it shouldn't be hijacking that mapping out of the box - maybe that's just me though - also Alt+D is better for one hand!

Alt+d hijacking is driving me nuts.

It is disabled in Saka options, working like Ctrl + k for the address bar just fine in a firefox profile for a year or so, and still working fine. Tried using Saka on a secondary profile created recently, with the exact same options for Saka, and even exported json from one profile and imported to the other, but Alt + d just scrolls right. Settings used:

It seems that whenever firefox is in text entry mode, Alt + d works fine, but otherwise I can't figure out how to use Alt + d to get to address bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

+1 for not hijacking alt-d by default, it's pretty handy
