Reconsider support for multiple input files

Right now it doesn't really make sense to process multiple input files, since we only have one output path.

Options are:

• allow some sort of formatting for output paths (tedious and bug-prone)
• only allow a single input at a time (easy)

I'm not sure what direction I want to take just yet though.
