Proper SMB connection for Shared folders

As of 3.0.2, the shared folder functionality only uploads to a shared folder by essentially drag and dropping into a mounted network drive (or any folder/directory really). A proper SMB would be nice to do but I had trouble implementing one. Anyone is free to help on this feature.
