i could be mistaken but i THINK these are the same errors i was facing, and this comment solved the issue for me! (credit to user 2shashank11):

I searched a lot about this issue(because I was also facing it) and found that it occurred because of not having Git installed on my PC. you can try installing Git from here and then reinstalling data-atom package from Atom editor.
