Sometimes on New Notes, Daily Word Count does not increment, even while other words counts do increment

Some new files I create do not count entered words towards the daily word count - ever. Has anyone else experienced this?

I can see the current file and total word count are working fine. But the daily word count isn't budging.

This has happened with multiple new files I've created in the past, but it does not happen with every file or frequently, so I am having trouble reproducing the bug accurately. It could be the first new file of the day? Unsure yet.

Restarting the program does not remedy this, and I have to delete the file altogether as it is effectively 'dead' for daily word count progression, as though it is somehow flagged to be ignored. The solution is to create another file to replace the 'dead' file.

This has been around for at least a few Obsidian updates, so I don't think it's related to the latest changes there.
