Trouble with Chrome on Mobile Device

Open DzTheRage opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

Hello, I'm really enjoying Scrollify but I am having trouble making it work on my mobile phone with Chrome 4.3, which I believe is most updated version. It works great on Firefox on mobile. I've updated Scrollify as well to Version 1.0.17.

On the page Scrollify is enabled. The section snapping will come on and off in between regular scrolling as if Scrollify was disabled. Both swiping up and down have shown this behavior.

The site I'm using this on is: 123rsv.com/works.html

Thank you.

I managed to make it work passably by disabling the scrollbar (scrollbars: false) and adding:

min-height: 100vh !important;

to whichever div i was using as a panel. It's not ideal. It has something to do with the way that Chrome calculates view height with the address bar hidden / exposed.

For the record, the same behavior you describe occurs on the scrollify demo site. It's almost unusable on Android Chrome.

same issues here :( , not sure how I can use the script with that type of performance on a major platform, its really bad UX.
