Can't run latexocr

I got to know about this recently and wanted to give it a try. pix2tex command works fine, but latexocr command gives this error

qt.dbus.integration: Could not connect "org.freedesktop.IBus" to globalEngineChanged(QString) Sandboxing disabled by user. The Wayland connection experienced a fatal error: Protocol error

Can someone help me with this issue?
