Add blog only home page?

I think there is a way to customize the page or editing the theme's source code to make that happen, but I am still wondering if there is a config toggle setting can enable/disable the profiles homepage?

Hey!

There is no configuration to change the home page. You will need to change override the layouts/partials/home.html template to achieve that. The #320 issue is a good starting point.
