Can't get it to work

I'm new to this forum. I posted this in the wrong place previously.

This looks like a tool I've been looking for. If I understand, this will allow you to scroll through a Microsoft PPT on your laptop using your pebble watch as a remote controller. I can't seem to get it to work, though. After a lot of effort trying to understand what I needed to install (python and pip), I was able to get the server to run and get the IP address. I put the IP in the iPhone App, it sends a communication to the watch. But,nothing happens when I use the up and down buttons on the watch. Can you help me understand how this is supposed to work?

Can you post here the output of the Python server script?

The output is Pebble Slides started. Your address is "IP Address:port number" Where "IP Address". Is the actual IP address and "port number" I assume is a port number, but seems to be some 5 digit random number.

After introducing the IP and port on your phone, did you exit and open the app on the Pebble as it is stated?
