Cannot find a cam
Hi All, I have homebridge installed with your plugin to see toy cameras. I have configured my home with all my 5 cameras and worked well but then I reset all because the SD was unstable. Now I can see 4 of 5 cameras when I try to add an accessory, and there is no way the find the 5th. Have you any suggest? Thanks, Alberto
Thanks for your reply! I tried without good result. Now I'm trying to reconfigure all my home starting with a new configuration. Hope this fix. Do you know if there are some associations MAC camera home kit in Apple TV configuration?
Since I've updated to iOS 11.2.2 I have problems to connect my Foscam camera back in Homekit. I've tried everything: removing/reinstalling Home, clearing caches (~/.homebridge), renaming 'username' in config.json, but nothing works, my camera no longer shows up in Homekit. However, it's still visible in Bonjour under HAP, so it's being advertised, but Homekit can't find it?!
After a fresh install of homebridge (yesterday) I was not able to add my Foscam C1 camera anymore. Now I managed to add the Foscam C1 with this plugin. See my 'solution' (workaround) below.
Because the homebridge-foscamcamera was not working, yesterday I added the homebridge-ffmpeg plugin. This morning I just added the homebridge-foscamcamera again (so besides homebridge-ffmpeg) and surprisingly the (second, in fact the same) Foscam C1 appeared when adding a new accessory. I actually did not add this accessory, but deleted the homebridge-ffmpeg plugin (and the Foscam C1 camera in HomeKit). After rebooting homebridge I was still able to add the C1 with the foscamcamera plugin. Now the (dis)arm function is back!
Hopefully this workaround will work for you guys!
