Problem with bluetooth finger scanner (Honeywell 8675I)

Hi! We are using this library with the Honeywell CT45 scanner running Android 11. The scanner has an external Bluetooth scanner attached (Honeywell 8675I). Although the main device works perfectly fine, the external scanner does not work. The library seems to somehow disable input from the external scanner. Does anyone know about this issue or have had the same problem? Is there any configuration code that could be used to enable the external scanner?
