JSON view very slow with high CPU usage

When I use the JSON view (for a response for example) with a larger json response Paw freezes for sometimes over 10 seconds and the CPU usage might go over 90 %.

I do have a older laptop, Macbook pro from 2010, but I would expect some JSON tree handling be quite operation. Now the app freezes every time I switch to a tab that has JSON response open. If I choose text, for example, everything is fine.

This makes app quite unusable, if using the JSON view, which would be the main reason to use paw, as other good clients exist without this feature.

same here. I have a 2013 macbook pro and paw version 3.1.8 from Setapp. hangs all the time for no reason... I have reverted to 3.1.7 and everything works fine. Maybe give it a try

I'm using Paw 3.1.8 from Setapp as well and experiencing the same issue. Is there an easy way to downgrade using Setapp?
