This is one way to create a wheel and get it published to pypi: https://www.realpythonproject.com/how-to-create-a-wheel-file-for-your-python-package-and-import-it-in-another-project/

I'll create a fork & PR for updating this: https://github.com/lucjon/Py-StackExchange/blob/18243b192c7a1abe9f67b538c4156507e795bf1c/tools/release.sh

in case that is the file you still use to publish to pypi.
