Alt key cancelcs crouching.

In Dark Forces: When the character is crouching (standard: hold down C), he stands up when Alt is pressed. Happened in v1.09.410 It didn't make a difference if a function was assigned to Alt or not. To reproduce:

1. Assign C as crouch key
2. Ingame, press and hold C.
3. Now press Alt. Kyle will stand up.

I confirm. I use the RAlt key (aka AltGr) for crouch. And I use the RCtrl key to fire. When I press and hold the RAlt key for crouching, I can't fire anymore, until I release the RAlt key.

I've managed this with AutoHotkey program replacing the RAlt key for W key. Is not elegant, but it work.
