Difficulty Overhaul
A proposed system for overhauling the difficulty of the game:
- Create templates for mobs along the lines of "average person" "elite guard" etc. These have stats and skills and ammo and cyberware and bioware set in them, ready for use.
- Set it up so that all mobs have templates that override their current stats (some untemplated mobs can still exist for one-offs and bosses)
- Set zones to have difficulty multipliers that increase the template value in some way that makes sense (0-10, with 0 being no increase and 10 being 2x increase?)
- Make the templates editable in game so builders can spin up their own templates (maybe someone wants an all-orc area and there's no orc templates yet)
