Loot from opened chests disappearing and reappearing

I played aoeo three times now (3 times that I logged in, played and logged out). When on the first quest, I received one legendary item from a chest. Which I opened in the mission/quest, not in the capital city. When I finished the quest and returned to the capital city, only the legendary item was gone. After I logged in the third time, yesterday. It reappeared in the inventory. I equipped it and it did not disappear again. Em, so I do not know what to make of it. Maybe it locked it away since I went through the tutorial...but I somehow doubt it. I should be visible in the inventory even if not equipable.

Note! This was the only time it happened!

Happened to me too, also very early on in the game. Might have something to do with opening the Gear Hall by right-clicking the items, before you actually HAVE a gear hall.
