[feature request] configurable jump target characters

Open mmcnl opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

First, thank you so much for this great extension! It's making my transition from emacs happier.

One thing I was missing though from spacemacs is the ability to specify which characters are used as jump targets. That is, instead of simply abcdef... as it is now, I would love it if I could select a custom set of characters that are a little easier to type (for example starting on the home row like fjdkdlsr...).

Thanks!

Can you define the full character set using the home row?

My experience is with the Emacs plugin Avy, which uses a set of home row keys for the first character then starts using additional easy to type characters (as shown in screenshots here https://github.com/abo-abo/avy), so that, for example, you might jump to the first match with a and then a later match with ka.
