Help: HTTP request failed

When I enter my information to start mining I type --url=hub.miningpoolhub.com:12012. I then receive the following errors HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server and json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds.

Check if your firewall is blocking access to the server
